The South Korean company revealed the updated version of its Hyundai Staria 2026.
The updated Staria 2026 maintains its familiar appearance with subtle design changes, new technical additions, improved class details, and improvements to the suspension system. The most prominent of these updates are larger screens and more physical buttons to improve ease of use.
The Hyundai Staria is approaching its fifth year, having been first launched in April 2021, and to remain competitive in a rapidly changing market, Hyundai has introduced a mid-life refresh that is not limited to cosmetic improvements only.

Hyundai Staria 2026 updated from the outside
It is difficult for non-specialists to notice the differences, but a direct comparison with the previous version reveals a front LED strip extending the width of the car without interruption, with the Staria name engraved on the sides, better integration of the lower lights, as well as a new style of cooling air vents.
The highest-equipped Lounge category gets a slightly redesigned front grille with chrome accents that is now visually separated from the lower air vent in the bumper. Hyundai has not yet confirmed any official details about the upcoming Staria electric version despite monitoring test models with a different front end.
A new exterior color called Classy Blue Pearl has also been added to the standard color palette while the Lounge grade also gets the exclusive Galaxy Maroon Pearl color.

What about the updated Hyundai Staria 2026 cabin?

The design of the cabin has not changed radically, but the basic elements have witnessed a noticeable development. The size of both the digital instrument screen and the entertainment system screen has increased from 10.25 to 12.3 inches with the operation of the latest Hyundai software systems that support over-the-air updates (OTA).

The dashboard received new air conditioning vents and an updated storage drawer, while the redesigned center console adopted more physical buttons instead of relying on touch controls via the screen as in the previous model.

Other updates include a newer-designed steering wheel and an electronic gear lever mounted on the steering column in the Lounge category, in addition to an auxiliary handle next to the driver’s seat to facilitate entry.
Hyundai also added new upholstery colors and expanded the safety and driver assistance systems equipment to become standard in a greater number of models.

As before, the Staria is available in a wide range of seating arrangements, from practical versions with just two seats to spacious versions with 11 seats distributed over four rows.
The engines of the updated Hyundai Staria 2026 have not changed
The drivetrain remains unchanged, with a 237-horsepower, non-electric 3.5-liter V6 engine available with the ability to run on LPG gas.
There is also a self-charging hybrid version that combines a 1.6-liter turbo engine and one electric motor with a total power of 242 horsepower, and the fully electric version is still under development.
The 2026 Hyundai Staria is currently available for order in South Korea, with prices starting from 32.59 million won (about 22 thousand dollars) and reaching 48.76 million won (about 33 thousand dollars) for higher categories, with a global launch to follow later.
