This unique edition was inspired by the Porsche 911 G-Body that Ferdinand drove during the 1980s. The car carries an exclusive special color called FA Green Metallic, which is a modern interpretation of the classic Oak Green color that adorned his original car.
As for the interior, it is another story of thoughtful luxury, as Porsche used a new special fabric called FA Grid-Weave, which is a modern reimagining of the classic houndstooth pattern, with a sophisticated touch represented by a wooden gear handle that reflects the classic taste of the honoree.
Rare details for lovers of authenticity
This special edition 911 GT3 FA Porsche is the first and last car to get the elegant Sport Classic rims with center caps bearing the classic Porsche logo.
The number 72 also appears on the doors of the car in reference to the year Porsche Design was founded, while golden logos adorn the back cover, along with the 90 badge to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche.
Limited production and price reflects historical value
Porsche will produce only 90 copies of the special 911 GT3 FA Porsche, to confirm its exclusive and elite character.
