Bugatti took advantage of its official Facebook account to publish pictures of its newest version of the Bugatti Mistral, which has a peanut butter-flavored color!
Bugatti announced years ago that its legendary W16 engine, which formed the cornerstone of its supercars, would reach the end of its journey, and that the last versions of this engine would be used in Mistral car New Mistral. With only 99 copies of the fastest convertible produced, each owner had the opportunity to completely customize his car under the supervision of Bugatti designers, giving each copy a unique identity… and the copy we see here is a great example of that.
Bugatti shared photos of this car on its official Facebook page without revealing the identity of its owner or its design philosophy, but its distinctive color raises suspicions that its owner might be a peanut butter lover!
Peanut flavor has arrived in the Bugatti W16
A sweet masterpiece, but not edible
The car comes in a creamy brown color resembling the color of peanut butter, which is a completely unusual color for Bugatti cars, especially when mixed with dark chocolate shades. Despite its strangeness, the visual result is amazing and harmonious. Shiny metallic accents on the exhaust, wheels and hoods add further balance to this bold look.
Inside, the source of inspiration is clear. Brown leather. Almost every part is covered with luxurious leather in a color matching the exterior body, as if the exterior design was inspired by the cabin and not the other way around. The doors and seats receive woven leather details that give a unique artistic touch.
The only exception to this leather character is the gear knob made of dark matte wood that clearly reveals the natural wood lines, with a transparent part inside which is a dancing elephant, a reminder of the radiator cap figurines of classic Bugatti.
Final farewell to the W16 engine
The Bugatti Mistral is distinguished by being the last car to have the historic 8-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers, producing 1,578 horsepower and 1,600 Newton meters of torque, connected to a 7-speed double-clutch transmission, and operating with an all-wheel drive system.

Its price, like its performance, is crazy!
When unveiled, the base price of the Bugatti Mistral was approximately 5 million US dollars, or the equivalent of 18,750,000 Saudi riyals, before customization additions. Despite the high price, all 99 cars were sold before they were built. The strangest thing is that one of the buyers sold only the manufacturing right – that is, his place on the waiting list – for about 9.3 million US dollars, or the equivalent of 34,875,000 Saudi riyals!
The question remains: What will the design of that copy look like, the price of which was paid for its place, roughly equivalent to paying for two copies of the same car? Maybe we’ll see it later if Bugatti continues to share photos of the special editions online.
